Surfing icon Steven Boehne (left) of Infinity Surf has joined the HPWA as Advisor to assist legendary Mickey Munoz (right) to represent the surfing industry. HPWA Director Steven Alan Fry (center) brought this dream team together at this year's Mongoose Cup on March 10 at Dana Point Harbor where Fry collected 41 new members and SUP PFD petitions.
The 2010 Summer Outdoor Retailer show took place under hot and beautiful skies in Salt Lake City August 5-8, 2010. The Salt Palace hosted over 1100 exhibitors competing for attention in a very challenging market.
Joel Brand, manager of the Santa Monica Biannual Paddle Board Race provided the HPWA with a prime location for petition sign-ups. Joel, shown signing the petition, joined 39 other paddlers today as the HPWA's SUP campaign gains speed.
